weee and rohs compliance

The WEEE Directive enforces the recovery and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment at the end of life.3 The RoHS Directive restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment placed on the market after 1st July 2006. These hazardous substances include lead, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, mercury and two groups of flame retardants.

We have successfully trained or advised over 400 businesses on the implications of the Directives.

We provide a number of compliance services:

Training and awareness raising on all aspects of the WEEE and RoHS Directives
Tailored practical action plans to aid compliance
Training in lead-free soldering
A review of RoHS compliance issues
WEEE obligation and cost estimates
Advice on supply chain and contracting issues
RoHS compliance testing

Additionally, we have developed a comprehensive WEEE and RoHS compliance toolkit.
